While we always try our very best to come up with the most practical and easy parenting plans while mediationg, sometimes what we put down on paper is not as easy to adhere to as we thought. Has this happen to you? If so, you can always go back to a mediator, rather than go to court, and try to create a more suitable parenting plan. Court should never be the first step…it should be the last resort.
However, I think I am going to start adding as much info as I can find to this blog regarding co-parenting, such as different ideas to help make it easier. Because afterall – it is all about the kids once the relationship is over – and there are ways to be very successful at co-parenting if you have the right tools!
